There are more than 350 different types of birds in Kyrgyzstan. Your way will go up to 3700 m above a sea level and will pass through various climatic zones; from semi -desert of Western part of Issyk-Kul area to alpine meadows of Lake Song-Kul. You can see different types of birds: from wild spread birds like turtle-dove, swallowdove, black thrush, sulfur crow, jackdaw and sparrow to rare kinds of birds, lives in our Republic. For example Ibidorhyncha struthersii (Ibisbill), Syrrhaptes paradoxus (Pallas’s Sandgrouse), Falco peregrinus (Peregrine Falcon), and etc. |
